STANDING STRONG IN FAITH

Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a huge crowd of witnesses to the life of faith, let us strip off every weight that slows us down, especially the sin that so easily trips us up. And let us run with endurance the race God has set before us. -Hebrews 12:1 (NLT)

1. Surround yourself with people who.

Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a huge crowd of witnesses to the life of faith… -Hebrews 12:1 (NLT)

2. Remove all .

So let’s not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don’t give up. -Galatians 6:9 (NLT)

3. Renew .

That is why we never give up. Though our bodies are dying, our spirits are being renewed every day. -2 Corinthians 4:16 (NLT)

Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things. -Philippians 4:8 (NLT)

But those who trust in the Lord will find new strength. They will soar high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint. -Isaiah 40:31 (NLT)

4. Allow the to be in control of your life.

Then I will ask the Father to send you the Holy Spirit who will help you and always be with you. -John 14:16 (CEV)

But letting the Spirit control your mind leads to life and peace. -Romans 8:6 (NLT) 

So I say, let the Holy Spirit guide your lives… -Galatians 5:16 (NLT)

…be filled with the Holy Spirit… -Ephesians 5:18 (NLT)

For all who are led by the Spirit of God are children of God. -Romans 8:14 (NLT)

But the Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control… -Galatians 5:22-23 (NLT)
