All Things are not always Easy!

1. God can use every situation for His glory.

Romans 8:35 NASB: Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?”

  • We conquer through Him.

Romans 8:37: But in all these things we overwhelmingly conquer through Him who loved us.

  • Nothing can separate us.

Romans 8:38-39: “For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

2. God has a plan.

Jeremiah 29:11-13: “For I know the plans that I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans for welfare and not for calamity to give you a future and a hope. Then you will call upon Me and come and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart.”

  • Plans are fulfilled in sequential steps.

  • We may not always understand God’s plan.

Isaiah 55:8, 9, 11: “For My thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways My ways,” declares the Lord. “For as the heavens are higher than the earth, So are My ways higher than your ways, and My thoughts than your thoughts… So shall My word be which goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me empty, without accomplishing what I desire, and without succeeding in the matter for which I sent it.”

3. God hears our prayers.

2 Chronicles 7:14-15: If My people who are called by My name humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. Now My eyes shall be open and My ears attentive to the prayer offered in this place.
