Forgetting Those Things Which Are Behind

Judges 11:1 NASB95 and RVR60

Now Jephthah the Gileadite was a valiant warrior, but he was the son of a harlot. And Gilead was the father of Jephthah.

Jefté galaadita era esforzado y valeroso; era hijo de una mujer ramera, y el padre de Jefté era Galaad.

Because God is greater than our past, we must forget those things which are behind.

Three things to forget and two not to forget.

1. Forget the negativity of the past (1)

2. Forget the mistreatment of the past (2)

3. Forget your past failures (3)

4. Forget not God’s blessings (14-28)

5. Forget not God’s presence (29)

Call to Action

1. Forget the bad things of the past

2. Focus on the good things of God

3. Seek His presence continually
