When You’re Disappointed By God

“Disappointment with God”
(Luke 2:10-14, Matthew 1:18-19,
Matthew 2:13, Proverbs 19:21, Matthew 1:20-21)
What do you do when you feel like God has let you down?
…If we needed advice= a
…if we needed education= a
…if we needed new laws=
…but we needed forgiveness and hope, so God sent a !
- Imagine being Joseph:
- Disappointment
- Plans
- Imagine being Mary
- Probably or years old
- Has and for a family
- But God. Didn’t do anything .
- Yet, still, Joseph is considering her!
- Other Bible characters who were disappointed with God:
- – Have you ever been disappointed that God won’t answer your questions?
- – Ever been disappointed with God that you are doing his will/work and life is still so hard?
- – Ever felt disappointed that God didn’t the way you felt was most fair?
Joseph and Mary face the potential of further disappointment with God, and so may we:

- BTW, if God didn’t even make it easy for Joseph and Mary—the mother of Jesus—do you really think you and I will get off ?
- On the – Saying, yes, to God means we have joined a spiritual between good and evil!
- One of the ways you can help fend off some disappointment is to the of your situation.
