“Children Need Moms and Dads” 

Matthew 15:22 

“A Canaanite woman from that area came to Jesus and cried out, “Lord, Son of David, have mercy on me! My daughter has a demon, and she is suffering very much.” 

1.is needed by children from their parents. 

Genesis 25:27-28 

“As the boys grew up, Esau became a skillful hunter. He was an outdoorsman, but Jacob had a quiet temperament, preferring to stay at home. 28) Isaac loved Esau because he enjoyed eating the wild game Esau brought home, but Rebekah loved Jacob.” (NLT)

Job 42:15 

“In all the land no women were as lovely as the daughters of Job. And their father put them into his will along with their brothers.” (NLT)

Genesis 22:6-8 

“So Abraham placed the wood for the burnt offering on Isaac’s shoulders, while he himself carried the fire and the knife. As the two of them walked on together, 7) Isaac turned to Abraham and said, “Father?” “Yes, my son?” Abraham replied. “We have the fire and the wood,” the boy said, “but where is the sheep for the burnt offering?” 8) “God will provide a sheep for the burnt offering, my son,” Abraham answered. And they both walked on together.” (NLT)

Judges 14:1-3 

One day when Samson was in Timnah, one of the Philistine women caught his eye. 2) When he returned home, he told his father and mother, “A young Philistine woman in Timnah caught my eye. I want to marry her. Get her for me.” 3) His father and mother objected. “Isn’t there even one woman in our tribe or among all the Israelites you could marry?” they asked. “Why must you go to the pagan Philistines to find a wife?” But Samson told his father, “Get her for me! She looks good to me.” (NLT)

John 2:1-3 

“The next day there was a wedding celebration in the village of Cana in Galilee. Jesus’ mother was there, 2) and Jesus and his disciples were also invited to the celebration. 3) The wine supply ran out during the festivities, so Jesus’ mother told him, “They have no more wine.” (NLT)
