Break The Box -Message 1: New Playbook

January 8, 2023   /   Bethesda Church

Joshua 3: 2-4 (NIV)

After three days the officers went throughout the camp, giving orders to the people: “When you see the ark of the covenant of the Lord your God and the Levitical priests carrying it, you are to move out from your positions and follow it. Then you will know which way to go, since you have never been this way before.

Mark 14: 3-6 (KJV) And being in Bethany in the house of Simon the leper, as he sat at meat, there came a woman having an alabaster box of ointment of spikenard very precious; and she broke the box and poured it on his head. And there were some that had indignation within themselves, and said, why was this waste of the ointment made? For it might have been sold for more than three hundred pence and have been given to the poor. And they murmured against her. And Jesus said, let her alone; why trouble ye her? she hath wrought a good work on me.

  1. Healing

1 Peter 2: 24 (NIV) “He himself bore our sins” in his body on the cross, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; “by his wounds you have been healed.”

  1. Deliverance

Mark 16: 17 (NIV) And these signs will accompany those who believe: In my name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new tongues.

Matthew 10: 7-8 (NIV) As you go, proclaim this message: ‘The kingdom of heaven has come near.’ Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse those who have leprosy, drive out demons. Freely you have received; freely give.

  1. Discipleship

Luke 9: 23-24 (NIV) Then he said to them all: “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross daily and follow me. 24 For whoever wants to save their life will lose it, but whoever loses their life for me will save it.
