GRACE TRANSFORMS — OPENER

Ephesians 2:5-6 (ESV)  
…even when we were dead in our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ—by grace you have been saved— 6 and raised us up with him and seated us with him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus,

NAME:  We want to reach this Big Central Valley with the Grace of Jesus Christ in Community with His Church.  

PURPOSE: The purpose of the Church is to bring glory to God.  1 Corinthians 10:31 (ESV)  

MISSION: Love God, Love People, Make Disciples.  Matthew 22:37-39; 28:18-20 (ESV)  

VISION: Love your [actual] neighbor.  

This means every member of the Body of Christ, being led by the power of the Holy Spirit of God, evangelizing and discipling our [actual] neighbors, and leading them to do the same.  

HOW: This is only possible when God’s Grace Transforms lives.

Grace Transforms residents of earth into CITIZENS OF HEAVEN:  

#1: Citizens of Heaven BELIEVE in Jesus Christ  
Every member of the Body of Christ.  

But we believe that we will be saved through the grace of the Lord Jesus, just as they will.   Acts 15:11 (ESV) 

#2: Citizens of Heaven INFLUENCE for Jesus Christ  
Being empowered by the Holy Spirit of God. 

The Spirit of grace…   Hebrews 10:29 (ESV)  
“But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses…”    Acts 1:8 (ESV)  

#3: Citizens of Heaven WIN with Jesus Christ  
Evangelizing our [actual] neighbors.  

But I do not account my life of any value nor as precious to myself, if only I may finish my course and the ministry that I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify to the gospel of the grace of God.   Acts 20:24 (ESV)  

#4: Citizens of Heaven EQUIP in Jesus Christ  
Discipling our [actual] neighbors.  

7 But grace was given to each one of us according to the measure of Christ’s gift… 12 to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ. Ephesians 4:7,12 (ESV)  

#5: Citizens of Heaven MULTIPLY through Jesus Christ  
Leading our [actual] neighbors to do the same.  

For it is all for your sake, so that as grace extends to more and more people it may increase thanksgiving, to the glory of God.    2 Corinthians 4:15 (ESV)   

GOAL: To glorify God through exponential discipleship.  

All the residents of  heard the word of the Lord.   Acts 19:10  

START: Claim where you live as a Residence of Grace.  

But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.   Joshua 24:15 (ESV) 
If I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing.   1 Corinthians 13:2 (ESV)
