ETERNITY WITH GOD

“Let not your heart be troubled, ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so I would have told you. I will go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there you may be also.” John 14:1-3 KJV

Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and the sea was no more. And I saw a holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Behold, the dwelling place of God is with man. He will dwell with them, and they will be His people, and God himself will be with them as their God.” Revelation 21:1-3 ESV

1. Eternity with God is a REAL PLACE

You make known to me the path of life; in your presence there is fullness of joy; at your right hand are pleasures forevermore. Psalm 16:11 ESV

a. Terrestrial Heavens

b. Telestial Heavens

c. Celestial Heavens

Where is Heaven? 

2. Eternity with God is a RESTING PLACE

So then, there remains a Sabbath rest for the people of God, for whoever has entered God’s rest has rested from his works as God did from his.  Hebrews 4:9-10 ESV

“This is my resting place forever, here I will dwell, for I have desired it.”  Psalm 132:14

We will enjoy this “rhythm of rest” for all eternity!

3. Eternity with God is a RESIDING PLACE

Let us go to His dwelling place, let us worship at His footstool.  Psalm 132:7

A residing place that will have eternal:

a. Worship without any distractions.

b. Serving without exhaustion.

c. Fellowship without fears.

d. Learning without fatigue.

e. Resting without boredom.

4. Eternity with God will be a RADIANT PLACE

Now Christ has entered, not into holy places made with hands, which are copies of true things, but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God on our behalf.  Hebrews 9:24 ESV

This “Radiant Place” will combine all of God’s love, power, and mind­— making it a perfect environment for all eternity!

HOW CAN I GET TO HEAVEN?

Jesus says in John 14:6: “I am the Way, the Truth and the Life. No one comes to the father except through me.”

There is no other way! Jesus Christ is the Door to Heaven! It is the synopsis of the message of the entire Bible. It is God’s plan of Salvation for man to be able to spend Eternity with God! Follow this “Roman Road.”

Someday the Book of Life will be opened, my friend! Will your name be written there? You can choose where you will spend eternity! 

And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and books were opened! Then another book was opened which is the Book of Life… 15 And if anyone’s name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire. Revelation 20:12,15 ESV
