ANOTHER MOMENT WITH THE MASTER 
Mark 5:1-20

The Gospel of Mark presents a rapid-fire succession of vivid pictures of Jesus Christ in “action!” His identity is revealed by what He does and what He says. This Gospel is a beautiful picture of Jesus on the move! Mark drops us immediately into His public ministry, and we have a front-seat view how we too can move at the “speed of Jesus,” and follow Him! 

There are three powerful forces in the world today, and these three “powers” were also present two thousand years ago at Gadara! Watch these powers in action, in today’s narrative… 

Satan, Society, and Our Savior

1. SATAN’S powers:

  Satan has a ! 

  “The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy.” John 10:10 ESV

   Society (the world) has a ! 

   “This is not the wisdom that comes from above, but is earthly, unspiritual, demonic.”  James 3:15 ESV

3. OUR SAVIOR’S powers: 

   The Savior has a ! 

   “For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.” Jeremiah 29:11 ESV

This “New Man” was  and he went  !
