How to Boost Your Spiritual Growth
How can I have personal growth and become spiritually “FIT?”

1. Take control of your MENTAL DIET (Control your thought life.)

Some need to DETOXIFY their minds with more intake of the WORD and more time in prayer and meditation.

2. Have a SUPPORT TEAM (Home Group)

The lesson from the Lone Fig Tree in Matthew 21:17-20­—we grow from “cross-pollination”. We need to be around one another to have “iron sharpen iron.”

3. You Need to EXERCISE (Serve)

There is a real “sweetness in sweat.” Paul served in Acts 19 and gave his sweatband for healing. Christ’s sweatband was the crown of thorns for us.

4. Spend TIME in the WORD of God (Read)

The WORD of GOD is food for the INNER MAN!!!

What did Jesus say to the man in John 5:8?  “RISE, take up your bed, and WALK.”

Read the Bible. Read all the Bible. Read it every day.

BOTTOM LINE: “Stick with the PLAN!”

Remember it is not about achievement, it is about astonishment.
We are to be in AWE of the LORD!
