Experience the tension of Holy Week through two EXTREMES:

Extreme #1: LIFE (King Jesus brings victory)

Extreme #2: DEATH (King Jesus suffers defeat)

Matthew 26:3-4 (ESV)

[Lethal Plot] Then the chief priests and the elders of the people gathered in the palace of the high priest, whose name was Caiaphas, 4 and plotted together in order to arrest Jesus by stealth and kill him.

[Governor] “…what shall I do with Jesus who is called Christ?” They all said, “Let him be crucified!”

[Mockers] “He saved others; he cannot save himself. He is the King of Israel; let him come down now from the cross, and we will believe in him.”

The tense extremes of a life-giving triumphal victory and the suffering defeat of King Jesus who is now dead in a tomb.
