Give God a Year: Spiratual Gifts

1 Corinthians 12:1 (NIV) – Now about the gifts of the Spirit, brothers and sisters, I do not want you to be uninformed.

God’s Gifts:

1. The Gift of .

Romans 6:23 (NIV) – For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Ephesians 2:8 (NIV) – For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith —and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God.

John 16:7 – But very truly I tell you, it is for your good that I am going away. Unless I go away, the Advocate will not come to you; but if I go, I will send him to you.

Acts 1:4-5 (NIV) – 4 “Do not leave Jerusalem, but wait for the gift my Father promised, which you have heard me speak about. 5 For John baptized with water, but in a few days you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit.”

2. Gifts.

1 Corinthians 12:4 – There are different kinds of gifts, but the same Spirit distributes them.

“A spiritual gift is a special supernatural ability that God gives to each of His children, so that together we can advance His purposes in this world.”

Romans 11:29 – For God’s gifts and his call are irrevocable.

Acts 2:17-18 (NIV) – 17 “In the last days, God says, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your young men will see visions, your old men will dream dreams. 18 Even on my servants, both men and women, I will pour out my Spirit in those days, and they will prophesy.”

3 Truths About Spiritual Gifts:
