God’s Unstoppable Purpose Was in the Beginning

Genesis 37-50

  • God’s plans prevail despite human intentions. Joseph Sold into slavery by his own brothers, falsely accused, and imprisoned, his journey was filled with adversity. Yet, these circumstances led to his eventual rise to power in Egypt, where he was instrumental in saving not only the Egyptian nation but also his own family from famine.

Daniel 3,

  • Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego are thrown into a fiery furnace for refusing to bow to King Nebuchadnezzar’s image. Their miraculous preservation amidst the flames serves as a powerful testament to God’s ability to protect and deliver those who trust in Him, even in the face of certain death.

Jesus declared

Matthew 16:18 (NKJV)

  • Despite persecution, the early church grew illustrating that God’s plan for the redemption of humanity through the church could not be thwarted by any power, human or demonic.

Three practical steps to get there…

1.If you’re committed to the search, you’ll find Him

Deuteronomy 4:29 (NLT)
….if you search for him with all your heart and soul, you will find him.

  • How? Prayer and Scripture

2. Change what you’re doing to how God is leading.

  • Your wants and needs vs. God’s desires.

Proverbs 3:5-6 (NLT)

Trust in the Lord with all your heart (be fully convinced); do not depend on your own understanding. (not working & doesn’t make sense!) Seek his will in all you do, (search for it) and he will show you which path to take.
