We are going to see three parallels between Adam and Jesus so that we can see more clearly who represents us spiritually and how:
- Adam’s act of sin that resulted in condemnation to all and Jesus’ act of righteousness that resulted in justification of life to all (v. 18)
- Adam’s disobedience caused the many to be made sinners and Jesus’ obedience caused the many to be made righteous (v. 19)
- Adam’s realm where sin reigns in death and Jesus’ realm where grace reigns through righteousness to eternal life (v. 20-21)
