We are going to encounter five important features on our tour of the empty tomb on that first Easter morning:

- The angelic interpreter of the empty tomb (vv. 2-6a)
- The open invitation to see the empty tomb (v. 6b)
- The compelling mandate of the empty tomb (vv. 7-8)
- The resurrected former inhabitant of the empty tomb (vv. 9-10)
