Who Am I Responsible For? | Walking Free, Part 12
July 9, 2023 / Crosstown Alliance ChurchWalking Free, pt. 12
Getting a Dog. Locking up the church. Who is responsible? Throat to choke.
Galatians 6:1-10
Brothers, if anyone is caught in any transgression, you who are spiritual should restore him in a spirit of gentleness. Keep watch on yourself, lest you too be tempted. 2 Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ. 3 For if anyone thinks he is something, when he is nothing, he deceives himself. 4 But let each one test his own work, and then his reason to boast will be in himself alone and not in his neighbor. 5 For each will have to bear his own load.
6 Let the one who is taught the word share all good things with the one who teaches. 7 Do not be deceived: God is not mocked, for whatever one sows, that will he also reap. 8 For the one who sows to his own flesh will from the flesh reap corruption, but the one who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life. 9 And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up. 10 So then, as we have opportunity, let us do good to everyone, and especially to those who are of the household of faith.

Galatians 6:1-2
Brothers, if anyone is caught in any transgression, you who are spiritual should restore him in a spirit of gentleness. Keep watch on yourself, lest you too be tempted. 2 Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.
2. Church – People of GOD
Spiritually – sin
Burdens – Spiritual & life burdens
Do good especially to GOD’s people. Anti-church idea. Church nomads One-anothers. Not everyone but you need to be responsible for others in the body of the CHRIST.
Who do you pray for regularly? Who would you restore if caught in a sin?
Who’s burden do you bear. Pastors are never called to do it all.
Who has asked how are you doing spiritually this week? This Month this year?
Who would you listen to? No one? Who would listen to you? Why?
For each will have to bear his own load.
1 Timothy 5:8
But if anyone does not provide for his relatives, and especially for members of his household, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever.
3. Family –
Bear your own load is the word for backpack.
JESUS takes care of HIS mother on the cross.
You have some control. Paul’s Church family was bigger because he had no children. Your family needs your care. They are your responsibility before GOD.
Ephesians 5:25-32
Husbands, love your wives, as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her, 26 that he might sanctify her, having cleansed her by the washing of water with the word, 27 so that he might present the church to himself in splendor, without spot or wrinkle or any such thing, that she might be holy and without blemish. 28 In the same way husbands should love their wives as their own bodies. He who loves his wife loves himself. 29 For no one ever hated his own flesh, but nourishes and cherishes it, just as Christ does the church, 30 because we are members of his body. 31 “Therefore a man shall leave his father and mother and hold fast to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh.” 32 This mystery is profound, and I am saying that it refers to Christ and the church.
Drag your kid to church never pray for or talk about it outside church.
Gardener illustration grass.
4. Self/Soul
Sow to the Spirit. You need to bear your own load. You need to seek GOD be filled with GOD empowered by GOD so you can love all the people you are responsible for rightly!
Are you sowing to the SPIRIT GOD will not be mocked. Is your marriage family work relationships all wanting? I have seen this truth godly people have many healthy relationships.
9 And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up.
