ASK ME ANYTHING: Why Does God Allow Suffering?

Can God still be trusted?

John 11:1-16

God’s love isn’t measured by His timing.

God’s love has never been measured by the speed of His answer. It’s measured by His character.

John 11:17-37

God is not threatened by your honest questions.

God is good because He is present in our suffering

God is good because He doesn’t remain distant from our suffering. He enters it.

John 11:38-56

God is good because death is not the end of the story.

Your suffering is real but it isn’t final

God is good because of the cross.

Romans 5:8

“But God demonstrates His own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”

If you want to know if God is Good, don’t start with your circumstances. Start with Jesus.

Come to Jesus.

Bring Him your Pain.

Listen to His voice.

Trust His heart.

Look to the Cross.
