Isaiah 53
Isaiah 53:4-5 (CSB)
4 Yet He Himself bore our sicknesses,
and He carried our pains;
but we in turn regarded Him stricken,
struck down by God, and afflicted.
5 But He was pierced because of our transgressions,
crushed because of our iniquities;
punishment for our peace was on Him,
and we are healed by His wounds.
1 Corinthians 11:24,25 “This is My body, which is for you. Do this in remembrance of Me.” “This cup is the new covenant established by My blood. Do this, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of Me.”
Matthew 8:16-17 (CSB) 16 When evening came, they brought to Him many who were demon-possessed. He drove out the spirits with a word and healed all who were sick, 17 so that what was spoken through the prophet Isaiah might be fulfilled:
“He Himself took our weaknesses
and carried our diseases”
1 Peter 2:24-25 (CSB) 24 He Himself bore our sins in His body on the tree,
so that, having died to sins, we might live for righteousness;
you have been healed by His wounds. 25 For you were like sheep going astray,
but you have now returned to the Shepherd and Guardian of your souls.
Revelation 21:4 (CSB) He will wipe away every tear from their eyes.
Death will no longer exist;
grief, crying, and pain will exist no longer,
because the previous things have passed away.
