Pastor Mark England
Matthew 28:19-20 (CSB) Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe everything I have commanded you. And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”
Ephesians 4:7 (NIV) But to each one of us grace has been given as Christ apportioned it.
Not the kind of “grace” before a meal.
Not the amazing “grace” that saved a wretch like me.
“Grace”: – A Divine enablement. Something God gave you that you’re good at and find fulfillment in. Something that makes an eternal difference.
Ephesians 4:11-16 (NIV) So Christ himself gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors and teachers, 12 to equip his people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up 13 until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ. 14 Then we will no longer be infants, tossed back and forth by the waves, and blown here and there by every wind of teaching and by the cunning and craftiness of people in their deceitful scheming. 15 Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will grow to become in every respect the mature body of him who is the head, that is, Christ. 16 From him the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work.
“A spiritual gift is a special ability that God gives to each of His children, so that we can connect with one another, be strengthened together, and advance in this world.”
Some make the tragic mistake of missing their because they avoid the topic of “”.
The avoidance of Spiritual Gifts isn’t always due to , but also exposure to how it has been .

If your gift is prophesying, then prophesy in accordance with your faith;

Ephesians 1:11-12 (CSB) we have also received an inheritance, because we were predestined according to the plan of the one who works out everything in agreement with the purpose of his will, 12 so that we who had already put our hope in Christ might bring praise to his glory.

At Thanksgiving dinner, and someone spills their plate all over the floor…
: “Ohhh…. I’m so sorry. Are you okay?”
: “That’s what happens when you’re not careful!”
: “I’ll clean it up.”
