Week 5: A Place of Praise
(Ephesians 2:1–2) As for you, you were dead in your transgressions and sins, 2 in which you used to live when you followed the ways of this world and of the ruler of the kingdom of the air, the spirit who is now at work in those who are disobedient.
Your atmosphere can determine the outcome.
√ Continually speak into your atmosphere.
(Romans 10:17 ESV) So faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ.
(Proverbs 18:21) Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruits.
(Mark 11:23) “I tell you the truth, if anyone says to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart but believes that what he says will happen, it will be done for him.(MULTILINE)
√ Continually release and into your atmosphere.
(2 Chronicles 5:13–14) The trumpeters and singers joined in unison, as with one voice, to give praise and thanks to the Lord. Accompanied by trumpets, cymbals and other instruments, they raised their voices in praise to the Lord and sang: “He is good; his love endures forever.” Then the temple of the Lord was filled with a cloud, 14 and the priests could not perform their service because of the cloud, for the glory of the Lord filled the temple of God.
(Psalm 34:3) Oh, magnify the Lord with me, and let us exalt his name together!
(Philippians 4:6–7) Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. 7 And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
Worry about nothing.
Pray about everything.
Think good things.
Be thankful for my things.
Trust God in all things.(MULTILINE)
√ Continually immerse into your atmosphere.
(Acts 16:25–26) About midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the other prisoners were listening to them. 26 Suddenly there was such a violent earthquake that the foundations of the prison were shaken. At once all the prison doors flew open, and everybody’s chains came loose.(MULTILINE)
Praise—The Fruit of our Lips
(Isaiah 57:18–19) I have seen his ways, and will heal him: I will lead him also, and restore comforts unto him and to his mourners. 19 I create the fruit of the lips; Peace, peace to him that is far off, and to him that is near, says the Lord; And I will heal him.
(Hebrews 13:15) Therefore by Him let us continually offer the sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of our lips, giving thanks to His name.
(Joel 3:10b) … Let the weak say, “I am strong!”
