Rhythms: Week 03
A Rhythm of Community

(Acts 2:42-47) They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. 43 Everyone was filled with awe at the many wonders and signs performed by the apostles. 44 All the believers were together and had everything in common. 45 They sold property and possessions to give to anyone who had need.  46 Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, 47 praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.

(Hebrews 10:24-25 NLT) Let us think of ways to motivate one another to acts of love and good works. 25 And let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people do, but encourage one another, especially now that the day of his return is drawing near.

1. Everyone needs .

(John 15:4-5) Remain in me, as I also remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me. 5 “I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.

 Someone who me

(James 5:16) Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed.

 Someone who will  me.

(Matthew 18:19) “Again, truly I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything they ask for, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven.

 Someone who will  me.

(Proverbs 27:6 NKJV) Faithful are the wounds of a friend, But the kisses of an enemy are deceitful.

✓ Someone who will me.

(Proverbs 27:17) As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another.

2. Someone needs .

(Matthew 20:28) just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.”

(Galatians 6:2) Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.
