A Place For You

(John 14:2–3 NIV84) In my Father’s house are many rooms; if it were not so, I would have told you. I am going there to prepare a place for you. 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am.

(Ecclesiastes 3:11) He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the hearts of men; yet they cannot fathom what God has done from beginning to end.

Why I Am Looking Forward to Heaven…

√ I have a there.

The Bible speaks of heaven as…

A country—speaks of great vastness in size and territory 

A city—speaks of building, streets residents, and bustling activity

A Kingdom—speaks of government, structure, and organization

My Father’s House–speaks of home…(MULTILINE)

(Philippians 3:20 ESV) But our citizenship is in heaven, and from it we await a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ.(MULTILINE)

√ Our are there. 

(Matthew 6:19–20) “Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. 20 But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moth and rust do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal.(MULTILINE)

√ Our will be there. 

(1 Thessalonians 4:17) After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever.(MULTILINE)

(1 John 3:2–3) Beloved, we are God’s children now, and what we will be has not yet appeared; but we know that when he appears we shall be like him, because we shall see him as he is. 3 And everyone who thus hopes in him purifies himself as he is pure.(MULTILINE)
