Grace on Purpose

(Ephesians 2:4-9) But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, 5 made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions—it is by grace you have been saved. 6 And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus, 7 in order that in the coming ages he might show the incomparable riches of his grace, expressed in his kindness to us in Christ Jesus. 8 For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— 9 not by works, so that no one can boast.

(Ephesians 2:10 ) For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.

(Jeremiah 1:5) Before I formed you in the womb I knew (chose) you, before you were born I set you apart;

(Ps 139:16) Your eyes saw my unformed body; all the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be.

(Ephesians 1:4) Even before he made the world, God loved us and chose us in Christ to be holy and without fault in his eyes.

(Ephesians 4:1) Live a life worthy of the calling you’ve received …

Don’t allow the mistakes of your life before Christ to keep you from the purpose of your life in Christ

2. I am Created for

For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works …

God has for the purpose he has prepared .

(Ephesian 4:7) But to each one of us grace has been given as Christ apportioned it. 

(1 Peter 4:10 NLT) God has given gifts to each of you from his great variety of spiritual gifts. 

(Romans 12:6-8) In his grace, God has given us different gifts for doing certain things well. So if God has given you the ability to prophesy, speak out with as much faith as God has given you. 7 If your gift is serving others, serve them well. If you are a teacher, teach well. 8 If your gift is to encourage others, be encouraging. If it is giving, give generously. If God has given you leadership ability, take the responsibility seriously. And if you have a gift for showing kindness to others, do it gladly.

which God prepared in advance for us to do.

(Matthew 5:14-16) You are the light of the world … In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.

Not until we fully our lives will we fully our purpose.

(Matthew 16:24-25) Then Jesus said to his disciples, “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me. 25 For whoever wants to save their life will lose it, but whoever loses their life for me will find it.
