Week 1: It’s Settled

 

(Ephesians 5:15-16) Be very careful, then, how you live—not as unwise but as wise, 16 making the most of every opportunity [time], because the days are evil. 

(Esther 4:14 AMP) For if you remain silent at this time, liberation and rescue will arise for the Jews from another place, and you and your father’s house will perish [since you did not help when you had the chance]. And who knows whether you have attained royalty for such a time as this [and for this very purpose]?”

(Philippians 3:13-14) Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, 14 I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus. 

Forgetting What’s Behind 

✓ Settle past

(2 Corinthians 5:17) Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!

(Psalm 103:12) as far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us.

(Colossians 4:13-14 NLT) You were dead because of your sins and because your sinful nature was not yet cut away. Then God made you alive with Christ, for he forgave all our sins. 14 He canceled the record of the charges against us and took it away by nailing it to the cross. 

✓ Settle Past

(Matthew 6:14-15 NLT) “If you forgive those who sin against you, your heavenly Father will forgive you. 15 But if you refuse to forgive others, your Father will not forgive your sins.

Pain that is not is . 

✓ Settle past

(Isaiah 43:18-19) “Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. 19  See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it?
