Show Us Your Glory

Lord, as we step into the new year, we pray the same prayer that Moses prayed to you when he stepped into the wilderness to lead your people–“Show us your glory.”

(Exodus 33:18) Then Moses said, “Now show me your glory.” 19 And the Lord said, “I will cause all my goodness to pass in front of you, and I will proclaim my name, the Lord, in your presence. I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion. 

God’s glory is the manifestation of his , his , and his .

(Exodus 33:14) My presence will go with you…

(Exodus 34:10) Before all your people I will do wonders never before done in any nation in all the world. The people you live among will see how awesome is the work that I, the Lord, will do for you.

From One degree of Glory to Another in 2024…

(2 Corinthians 3:16–18 ESV) 16 But when one turns to the Lord, the veil is removed. 17 Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. 18 And we all, with unveiled face, beholding the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from one degree of glory to another. For this comes from the Lord who is the Spirit.
