Think Again

(Proverbs 23:7) For as (a man) thinks in his heart, so is he.

(Romans 12:2) Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.

(Proverbs 4:23) Guard your heart above all else, for it determines the course of your life.

Change your thoughts — change your life!

If you’re like most people, your thoughts run on auto-pilot. Your thoughts have been formed over the years by your life experiences, culture, and other influences. You don’t have to let your thoughts run on auto-pilot. You have more control of your thoughts than you’ve been led to believe, or ever dreamed possible.

The Battle For Your Mind…and Your Future

(John 8:44b) He was a murderer from the beginning, a holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he (the devil) lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies.

1.   the lie.

(John 8:32) Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”

(James 3:15) This wisdom is not that which comes down from above, but is earthly, natural, demonic.

(John 16:13) But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all truth.

2.   the lie.

(2 Corinthians 10:3–5) For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does. 4 The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. 5 We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.

3.   the lie.

(Psalm 51:6) Behold, you delight in truth in the inward being, and you teach me wisdom in the secret heart.

(Hebrews 4:12) For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart.

(Psalm 119:11, 15-16) 11 I have hidden your word in my heart that I might not sin against you. 15 I meditate on your precepts and consider your ways. 16 I delight in your decrees; I will not neglect your word.

Philippians 4:8 (ESV) 8 Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things.
