Nowhere to Hide
Genesis 3:8-13
8 When the cool evening breezes were blowing, the man and his wife heard the Lord God walking about in the garden. So they hid from the Lord God among the trees. 9 Then the Lord God called to the man, “Where are you?”
10 He replied, “I heard you walking in the garden, so I hid. I was afraid because I was naked.”
11 “Who told you that you were naked?” the Lord God asked. “Have you eaten from the tree whose fruit I commanded you not to eat?”
12 The man replied, “It was the woman you gave me who gave me the fruit, and I ate it.”
13 Then the Lord God asked the woman, “What have you done?”
“The serpent deceived me,” she replied. “That’s why I ate it.”

You hide from your problems and God

Truth says…
You hide from God, you hide from your problems.
V9- Then the Lord God called to the man, “Where are you?”
Psalm 139:1-5
1 O Lord, you have examined my heart
and know everything about me.
2 You know when I sit down or stand up.
You know my thoughts even when I’m far away.
3 You see me when I travel
and when I rest at home.
You know everything I do.
4 You know what I am going to say
even before I say it, Lord.
5 You go before me and follow me.
Psalm 139:7-12
I can never escape from your Spirit!
I can never get away from your presence!
8 If I go up to heaven, you are there;
if I go down to the grave, you are there.
9 If I ride the wings of the morning,
if I dwell by the farthest oceans,
10 even there your hand will guide me,
and your strength will support me.
11 I could ask the darkness to hide me
and the light around me to become night—
12 but even in darkness I cannot hide from you.
To you the night shines as bright as day.
Darkness and light are the same to you.

You aren’t to for your sin
(a) You can blame others for you sin.

You must your sin
Proverbs 28:13– “People who conceal their sins will not prosper,
but if they confess and turn from them, they will receive mercy.”
You must your sin

After turning from your sin, we should with God.
Genesis 5:23-24– “Enoch lived 365 years,24 walking in close fellowship with God. Then one day he disappeared, because God took him.”
