Application:
Choose to do one of these or all five of these, this week. Or come up with your own way of showing gratitude to God. But take a concrete step in honoring our Father in Heaven.Set aside 20 minutes of solitude and just sit and read and pray through Psalm 95. Not asking for anything but as you pray recount things He has done for you and thank Him.
1. Set aside 20 minutes of solitude and just sit and read and pray through Psalm 95. Not asking for anything but as you pray recount things He has done for you and thank Him.
2. Write Jesus a letter of thanks for what he has done for you.
3. Serve someone spontaneously in Christ’s name.
4. Unsure of Christ’s claims? Can I challenge you to get up one morning, go outside and call on the name of the LORD? Be honest, ask for mercy and healing, call out to him as the Samaritan did, and listen to his reply. Re-read this passage in Luke as you pray.
5. Ask yourself some questions this week? Am I reflecting the Samaritans heart of gratitude as I live out each day?
