God’s Word

How To Improve Your Hearing

(1) Be ready and eager to God.

“He who has ears to hear, let him hear.” Luke 8:8

(2) Deal with that hearing God. Luke 8:4-15

So take care how you listen; for whoever has, to him more will be given; and whoever does not have, even what he thinks he has will be taken away from him.  Luke 8:18 NASB

God’s Word

Blessed is the one who reads, and those who hear the words of the prophecy and keep the things which are written in it; for the time is near.  Rev. 1:3 NASB

God’s Word

Now these people were more noble-minded than those in Thessalonica, for they received the word with great eagerness, examining the Scriptures daily to see whether these things were so. Acts 17:11 NASB

Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who has no need to be ashamed, rightly handling the word of truth.  2 Tim. 2:15 ESV

All Scripture is inspired by God and beneficial for teaching, for rebuke, for correction, for training in righteousness; so that the man or woman of God may be fully capable, equipped for every good work.  2 Tim. 3:16-17 NASB

  • “breathed by God.”

But know this first of all, that no prophecy of Scripture becomes a matter of someone’s own interpretation, for no prophecy was ever made by an act of human will, but men moved by the Holy Spirit spoke from God.
2 Pet. 1:20-21 NASB

Because of this – Scripture is profitable for:

  • – instructing you in the you to know.
  • – for what you have done .
  • – showing you what is .
  • in – guiding you to life as God intended life to be .

Why are we to use the Bible in these ways?

So that the man or woman of God may be fully capable, equipped for every good work.  2 Tim. 3:17 NASB
