Forgiving Sinning Members

What if a member sins?

#1 for the sinning member  

1 John 5:16 If anyone sees his brother committing a sin not leading to death, he shall ask, and God will give him life—to those who commit sins that do not lead to death. There is sin that leads to death; I do not say that one should pray for that.

Sins that “Do Not Lead To Death” are acts of sin in the believers life that do not them or them from the family/body = “death”

#2 the sinning member 

Galatians 6:1 Brothers, if anyone is caught in any transgression, you who are spiritual should restore him in a spirit of gentleness. Keep watch on yourself, lest you too be tempted. 

This must be done in

Ephesians 4:15 Rather, speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in every way into him who is the head, into Christ

#3 the sinner

1 Corinthians 5:2 …Let him who has done this be removed from among you. 5 you are to deliver this man to Satan for the destruction of the flesh, so that his spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord.

#4 to love one another. 

1 Peter 4:8 Above all, keep loving one another earnestly, since love covers a multitude of sins.

Proverbs 10:12 “Hatred stirs up conflict, but love covers over all wrongs.”
