Dispensationalism (Moody handbook of Theology pg. 709): A system of theology recognizing different stewardships of man under God. Who is able to wage war against it? ” The beast was given a mouth to utter boasts and blasphemies. It was allowed to exercise authority for forty-two months. It began to speak blasphemies against God: to blaspheme his name and his dwelling ​— ​those who dwell in heaven. And it was permitted to wage war against the saints and to conquer them. It was also given authority over every tribe, people, language, and nation. All those who live on the earth will worship it, everyone whose name was not written from the foundation of the world in the book of life of the Lamb who was slaughtered. — Revelation 13:3-8 (CSB)

He will make a firm covenant with many for one week, but in the middle of the week he will put a stop to sacrifice and offering. And the abomination of desolation will be on a wing of the temple until the decreed destruction is poured out on the desolator.” — Daniel 9:27-10:1 (CSB)

His forces will rise up and desecrate the temple fortress. They will abolish the regular sacrifice and set up the abomination of desolation. — Daniel 11:31 (CSB)

So, then, you are no longer foreigners and strangers, but fellow citizens with the saints, and members of God’s household, built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Christ Jesus himself as the cornerstone. In him the whole building, being put together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord. In him you are also being built together for God’s dwelling in the Spirit. — Ephesians 2:19-22 (CSB)

As you come to him, a living stone ​— ​rejected by people but chosen and honored by God ​— ​you yourselves, as living stones, a spiritual house, are being built to be a holy priesthood to offer spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ. — 1 Peter 2:4-5 (CSB)
