A Worthy Walk, Part 2

Scripture Focus:      Ephesians 4:17-32

A worthy walk demands a transformed mind.

1. The Danger of Thoughts and a Mind

             A. of the of God

            It would be foolish to carry on in darkness after having been exposed to the light.

            B. A heart

           Draw a line in the sand today. Break the cycle.

            C. to things

            (MULTILINE)

           Get your mind under control so you can get your walk with God where it needs to be.

2. The of a Mind

            A. to – Ephesians 4:20-21

           Truth becomes an anchor, and if you are tied off to it, nothing can pull you away.

            B. A new way of – Ephesians 4:23, Romans 12:1-2

            (MULTILINE)

            The ultimate goal of salvation is transformation. How are we transformed? By the renewing of our minds.

            C. Complete – Ephesians 4:22-24, 2 Corinthians 5:17

            They mean that a real person, Christ, here & now, in that very room where you are saying your prayers, is                  doing things to you.” – C.S. Lewis

3. of a Mind – Ephesians 4:25-32

What kind of person will Christ change you into?

An Honest Person. A Gentle Person. A Trustworthy Person. A Hardworking Person. A Generous Person.

A Person with Gracious Language. An Encouraging Person. A Spirit-led Person. A Forgiving Person.
