Gender Identity

Definitions:

○ Gender – Your gender is the “psychological, social, or cultural aspects of being male or female.”

○ Sex – Your sex is defined by your biological role in reproduction.

○ Gender dysphoria – when there is a conflict between the sex you are assigned at birth and the gender in which you identify.

We believe that your sex at birth is part of how God made you. We believe your gender is linked to your sex. We believe that to change your gender goes against God’s plan for your life.
