Matthew 5: 14-16 You are the world’s light—a city on a hill, glowing in the night for all to see. Don’t hide your light! Let it shine for all; let your good deeds glow for all to see, so that they will praise your heavenly Father.

1 Corinthians 12: 12-18 Just as a body, though one, has many parts, but all its many parts form one body, so it is with Christ…..

 Now if the foot should say, “Because I am not a hand, I do not belong to the body,” it would not for that reason stop being part of the body…..

 If the whole body were an eye, where would the sense of hearing be? If the whole body were an ear, where would the sense of smell be?

But in fact God has placed the parts in the body, every one of them, just as he wanted them to be.

Ephesians 4:12-16 or the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the ^[a]edifying of the body of Christ,  till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God….

from whom the whole body, joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working

by which every part does its share, causes growth of the body for the edifying of itself in love.
