Colossians 3:17-21 “And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him. Wives, submit yourselves to your husbands, as is fitting in the Lord. Husbands love your wives and do not be harsh with them. Children, obey your parents in everything, for this pleases the Lord. Fathers, do not embitter your children, or they will become discouraged.”

Three Godly qualities essential for Relational Health:

1. Submission – To willingly place yourself under the authority of another.

• James 4:7 “ therefore to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you.”

2. Love – To place the needs and well-being of another above yourself. Benevolence.

• John 3:16 “For God so the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”

3. Obedience – To listen attentively with the intent to conform.

• II Corinthians 10:3-5 “For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does. The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it to Christ.”
