  4. Unhealed hurts become a for future pain

Hebrews 12:14-15 NLT Work at living in peace with everyone, and work at living a holy life…15 Look after each other so that none of you fails to receive the grace of God. Watch out that no poisonous root of bitterness grows up to trouble you, corrupting many.

STEP 1 – Jesus to ground Zero   

Phillipians 2:6-7 NLT Though he was God, he did not think of equality with God as something to cling to. Instead, he gave up his divine privileges he took the humble position of a slave and was born as a human being.

PRINCIPLE 

When you from the pain of your past and don’t it, healing remains elusive

STEP 2 – Jesus came to extend , not  

John 3:17 NLT God sent his Son into the world not to judge the world, but to save the world through him.     

Hebrews 9:22 NLT …For without the shedding of blood, there is no forgiveness.

PRINCIPLE 

If we forgiveness from God, we must it to others who hurt us

STEP 3 Jesus offered a renewed relationship on freedom

John 1:9-13 NLT The true light that gives light to everyone was coming into the world. 10 He was in the world, and though the world was made through him, the world did not recognize him.11 He came to that which was his own, but his own did not receive him. 12 Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God— 13 children born not of natural descent, nor of human decision or a husband’s will, but born of God.

PRINCIPLE 

A relationship is not a relationship
