Understanding Boundaries

Definition of Boundary: A line which marks the limits of an area; a dividing line; an edge or limit of something. 

1. God .

   Acts 17:26 NLT
   From one man he created all the nations throughout the whole earth. He decided beforehand when they should rise and fall, and he determined their boundaries.
   

   Deuteronomy 32:8 ESV
   When the Most High gave to the nations their inheritance, when he divided mankind, he fixed the borders of the peoples according to the number of the sons of God.
   
   

2. Boundaries speak of , , and .

Numbers 34:1-3, 6-8, 10, 12 ESV
The LORD spoke to Moses, saying,  “Command the people of Israel, and say to them, When you enter the      land of Canaan (this is the land that shall fall to you for an inheritance, the land of Canaan as defined by its borders), your south side shall be from the wilderness of Zin alongside Edom… “For the western border, you shall have the Great Sea and its coast…. “This shall be your northern border: from the Great Sea you shall draw a line to Mount Hor.  From Mount Hor you shall draw a line to….  “You shall draw a line for your eastern border…. This shall be your land as defined by its borders all around.”

    In the same way, you husbands must give honor to your wives. Treat your wife with understanding as you live together. She may be weaker than you are, but she is your equal partner in God’s gift of new life. Treat her as you should so your prayers will not be hindered.

    This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us.

    But when you ask, you must believe and not doubt, because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. That person should not expect to receive anything from the Lord. Such a person is double-minded and unstable in all they do.
