Three Blind Mice | Koinonia Church | Pastor Jack Groblewski

John 9: 1 ESV: As he passed by, he saw a man blind from birth.

The problem with being blind to something in God is that you don’t know what you don’t know.

Taking territory means to bring to any dimension of life whether spiritual, physical, psychological, etc. the establishment of the domain of the Kingdom.

The activity of taking Kingdom territory is often creative activity, calling into existence things that do not exist.

Theological blindness (blindness of mind) descends when we create God in our image and we ascribe to Him our motives and reactions so that all is safe and predictable and tidy.

Religious blindness (blindness of heart) descends when we entrench ourselves in a form of spirituality that provides us security, affirmation and status and the form becomes an end in itself that insulates us from change.

Psychological blindness (blindness of soul –psuche) descends when we have expended so much energy in adapting to our handicap that we cannot bear to let go of it.
