WELCOME HOME – A Study in Ephesians
The Family Values
(Ephesians 4:1-3) As a prisoner for the Lord, then, I urge you to live a life worthy of the calling you have received. 2 Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love. 3 Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace.

What have you received ?
● You received God’s Grace
● You received adoption
● You received a spiritual inheritance
● You received God’s immeasurable love
● You received the infilling of the Holy Spirit
(Ephesians 4:2) Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love.
1. Live a life of
(Philippians 2:3) Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves

(Romans 14:1-3) Accept the one whose faith is weak, without quarreling over disputable matters. 2 One person’s faith allows them to eat anything, but another, whose faith is weak, eats only vegetables.3 The one who eats everything must not treat with contempt the one who does not, and the one who does not eat everything must not judge the one who does, for God has accepted them.
(Romans 14:14-15) 14 I am convinced, being fully persuaded in the Lord Jesus, that nothing is unclean in itself. But if anyone regards something as unclean, then for that person it is unclean. 15 If your brother or sister is distressed because of what you eat, you are no longer acting in love. Do not by your eating destroy someone for whom Christ died
4. Live a life of

(Luke 10:26-29) 26 “What is written in the Law?” he replied. “How do you read it?” 27 He answered, “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind’[a]; and, ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’” 28 “You have answered correctly,” Jesus replied. “Do this and you will live.” 29 But he wanted to justify himself, so he asked Jesus, “And who is my neighbor?”
(Luke 10:30-32) “In reply Jesus said: A man was going down from Jerusalem to Jericho, when he was attacked by robbers. They stripped him of his clothes, beat him and went away, leaving him half dead. 31 A priest happened to be going down the same road, and when he saw the man, he passed by on the other side. 32 So too, a Levite, when he came to the place and saw him, passed by on the other side.
(Luke 10:33) 33 But a Samaritan, as he traveled, came where the man was; and when he saw him, he took pity on him.
(Luke 10:34) 34 He went to him and bandaged his wounds, pouring on oil and wine. Then he put the man on his own donkey, brought him to an inn and took care of him.
(Luke 10:35) 35 The next day he took out two denarii and gave them to the innkeeper. ‘Look after him,’ he said, ‘and when I return, I will reimburse you for any extra expense you may have.’
(Luke 10:36-37) 36 “Which of these three do you think was a neighbor to the man who fell into the hands of robbers?”
37 The expert in the law replied, “The one who had mercy on him.” Jesus told him, “Go and do likewise.”
This is what Jesus did for us:
● He found us dead in our trespasses and sins
● He met us right where we were
● He healed us from the wounds of our past and sealed us with the Holy Spirit
● The blood of Jesus takes care of any debt we may have in the future
