The story of your life.

  1. Ephesians 5 encourages us to be imitators of Christ as loving children. Have you observed any positive qualities in your parents or mentors lives that you’ve chosen to imitate and have proven beneficial in your life?

  2. In the message, Pastor Obie talked about honoring God by serving others. Share one of the most fulfilling serving projects or moments that you have been a part of. It could have been from a mission trip or a personal moment serving a friend or family member.

Digging deeper.

  1. One of the best parables that represents someone walking the path of love is the parable of the good Samaritan. Read Luke 10:25-37 and answer the following prompts. 
    1. Have a few people recap the main tenets of the story.

    2. Have any of you experienced or witnessed a “Good Samaritan” moment, where someone went above and beyond to help someone else? If yes, we’d love to hear your story.

    3. What does this story tell us about God? People? You?

  2. Matthew 5:14-16 talks about believers, being “the light of the world”.  Read it together in a few different bible translations and answer the following prompts. 
    1. Can you share examples of how you have seen others effectively shine their light for Christ in everyday life, and how it impacted those around them?

    2. What does this tell us about God? People? You?

  3. Pastor Obie talked about the importance of walking in wisdom. Read the following verse on wisdom and answer the following prompts.
