Small Group Questions

What do you think?

What struck a chord with you from Sunday’s message?

The story of your life.

  1. Did you pause to watch the eclipse? If so, what was it like? AND BE REAL: On a scale of 1-10, did it generate any “End Times Anxiety” inside?

  2. On Sunday, we looked at what it means to be a witness for Christ in our world. Who has been a good witness (in word and deed) to you?

Digging deeper in God’s Word.

  1. For today’s discussion, we are going to focus on what it looks like to be a good witness in word and deed. One great example of being a witness for Christ is the story of Jesus’ interaction with the woman at the well in John 4. Read John 4:1-30, followed by verses 39-42 and answer the following prompts/questions.
    1. Have a few members of the group recap the story using their own words.

    2. What does this story tell us about God? Being a witness for Christ in our world?

    3. In light of this, is there anything we need to do differently?

  2. Read each of the following verses one at a time, recap the main tenets, and share an insight/encouragement from each one about how to be a better witness for Christ.
    1. Psalm 90:10-12.
