SMALL GROUP QUESTIONS

Small Groups will not meet the week of Thanksgiving. Take some time deciding what you want to do for the Small Groups celebration the week of December 3rd.

What do you think?

From Sunday’s message, what particular point stood out to you, challenged you, or raised a question for you?

The story of your life.

  1. Next week is Thanksgiving week! We hope your group will sit together for City Church’s Friendsgiving event on Friday November 17th. What plans do you have for Thanksgiving the following week?

  2. As you reflect back on all we have studied about King David’s life and leadership, what have been some of the biggest “take homes” for you in your life?

Digging deeper in God’s Word.

  1. Pastor Kyle made the point that blessing is built when God is truly enough for us. This life pulls us to believe that who we are, what we’ve done, and the things we have aren’t enough. One key way to remind ourselves of God’s sufficiency is to reflect on His faithfulness. Read the following passages one at a time and then share some insights about God’s faithfulness.
    1. Hebrews 13:8.

  2. Another key to remind ourselves that God is truly enough for us is to live sacrificially. Read the following passages one at a time and then share some insights on sacrificial living.

Personal reflection and application.

  1. Have everyone share one thing someone else shared that encouraged you in this discussion.

  2. Pray for one another (men with men and women with women if possible).
