- Pastor Kyle talked about living in a tough existence with no hope of an exodus in sight. What kinds of things are keeping you moving forward these days?
- The Bible is full of stories that testify to the fact that God gets us through whatever we are going through. Share a tough time God got you through that did not seem like it would end well at the time.
Digging deeper.
- Since Exodus 1:8 tells us the Egyptians forgot about Joseph over time, let’s take some time right now to refresh our memories about his story. Though we won’t have time to read all of the stories, we’ll try to cover the highlights. Read Genesis 37 and answer the following questions.

- Read Genesis 39.
- What does this story tell us about God/people/you?
- Now read the following verses from Joseph’s life. What further insight do they provide into his struggle and his story?
- Genesis 40:14, 22.
- Genesis 41:16.
- Genesis 41:37-42, 46.

- Genesis 45:1-5.
