Title: “Making Room for the God of Overflow”

John 10:10 AMP

10 The thief comes only in order to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance [to the full, till it overflows].

Ephesians 5:18 NIV

  1. GOD WANTS TO YOU

Psalm 23:5 NIV

John 7:37-39 NIV

Joel 2:28-29 NIV

A river never exists for itself. It brings life everywhere it flows.

  1. OVERFLOW REQUIRES

Sometimes our greatest enemy isn’t sin. It’s overload.

We say, “God, bless my schedule.” God says, “I’d rather lead your schedule.”

If the devil can’t make you bad, sometimes he’ll simply make you busy.

  1. HOW DO WE ROOM?

Making room is intentional. It doesn’t happen accidentally.

  1. Make room in your schedule.

Don’t give God what’s left. Give Him what’s first.

b. Make room in your relationships.

  1. Make room in your resources.

Whenever we loosen our grip, God demonstrates His faithfulness.

Ezekiel 47:1-5 NIV

You don’t find room for God—You make room for God.
