THANKSGIVING

1 Thessalonians 5: 16-18.

 

1. Characteristics of a person who is

and growing in faith.

 

a) Always remains joyful, despite the

circumstances.

 

Paul uses the preposition (at all times) implying that we

should be thankful in any circumstance.

Psalms 107: 21-22

 

2. Sacrifice of .

b) Always have an attitude of prayer in

thankfulness.

Gratitude and joy go hand in hand. When

we thank God, our heart’s are filled

with joy and the desire to sing with others arises what

God has done in our lives.

It is important to always proclaim with joy and

gratitude, the work that God has done in us.

 

3. Motivate and inspire others with .

Ephesians 5:19-20

Paul says encourage one another with psalms,

hymns, and spiritual songs.

Gratitude to God is an essential part of our

thanking Him.

 

A grateful heart praises God without reservation and

motivates others to thank and glorify God.

Psalm 107:8 says Give thanks to God for his great

love, for his wonders. There are many things that God

does for us every day. Therefore, our gratitude must be

continually in our mouths.

 

CONCLUSION:

Lack of gratitude makes you forget where

you were before, an arrogant fool who does not

allow you to see where you are now, limiting yourself from a much better

future.
