TRUST WEEK 1 – FOUNDATION OF TRUST

“In your personal life, everything rises and falls on trust.” – Dr Henri Cloud

Cambridge Dictionary (verb): to believe that someone is good and honest and will not harm you, or that something is safe and reliable.

“Trust is not a passive state of mind. It is a vigorous act of the soul by which we choose to lay hold on the promises of God and cling to them despite the adversity that at times seeks to overwhelms us.” – Jerry Bridges, Trusting God: Even When Life Hurts

Proverbs 3:5–6 ESV
5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart,
 and do not lean on your own understanding.
6 In all your ways acknowledge Him,
 and He will make straight your paths.

1. Fully trust God with inside you.

2. Stop depending on your understanding.
