SCRIPTURE

Sing to him; sing praises to him. Tell about the amazing things he has done. Be proud of his holy name. You followers of the Lord, be happy!

Psalm 105: 2-3

The psalm is telling the people to sing to God for all that He has done and to be proud followers.

APPLICATION

(How can I apply this scripture to my life?)

These days, so much emphasis is placed on getting likes and followers! As a follower of God, are you proud of who He is in your life and are you willing to tell everyone about Him and even sing to Him?

Parents, tell your child(ren):

What makes you proud to be a follower of God?

Ages 4-6:

What does it look like to be proud of God? Draw a picture of you being a proud follower of who He is!

Ages 7-9:

Write something that God has done in your life that makes you proud to be His follower. Bonus question: How can you show Him that you’re grateful?

PRAYER

“Dear God, I am so proud to follow You and call myself Your child. You continue to do amazing things in my life and for those around me. I will sing and praise You for my whole life! I pray this in Jesus’ name, amen!”
