Q: How can I experience great Joy this Christmas?
Psalm 98 Joy to the earth, the Lord has come
(v 1-3) The LORD has made known His Salvation.
(v 4-6) The LORD is present as King.
(v 7-9) The LORD will come as Judge.
Our Response to each reality: with Joyful Praise
- We celebrate our Salvation!
- We choose Joy!
Luke 2:7-21 Mary and the Shepherds
(v 10) “Fear Not, for behold, I bring you good news of great joy that
will be for all the people.”
The Gospel centers on: The Coming of our Savior, Christ the Lord
Q: How does this Good News become Great Joy for me?
- Shepherds: Don’t let FEAR rob your of Joy
- Shepherds: Engage Jesus personally
- Mary: Treasure and Ponder all these things
Christmas brings great joy when we treasure Jesus.
