Father’s Day At Ninevah Christian Church

“31 So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God. 32 Do not cause anyone to stumble, whether Jews, Greeks or the church of God— 33 even as I try to please everyone in every way. For I am not seeking my own good but the good of many, so that they may be saved. 11 1 Follow my , as I follow the example of Christ.” 1 Corinthians 10:31-11:1 NIV

“20 I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer , but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.” Galatians 2:20 NIV 

They do not need to hear our to tell them what matters to us.

Jesus said to his disciples: “Things that cause people to stumble are bound to come, but woe to anyone through whom they come. 2 It would be better for them to be thrown into the sea with a millstone tied around their than to cause one of these little ones to stumble(SIN)…… Luke 17:1-6 NIV

“4 Fathers,[b] do not exasperate your children; instead, bring them up in the training and instruction of the Lord.”  Ephesians 6:1-4Niv

18.3 million children live without a father in the home

“4 Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one.[a] 5 Love the Lord your God with your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. 6 These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. 7 Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. 8 Tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads. 9 Write them on the doorframes of your houses and on your gates……..”  Deuteronomy 6:1-25 NIV

 But as for me and my , we will serve the Lord.” Joshua 24:15

Does my life imitate Jesus so closely that I’m comfortable telling people to “Follow me as I follow Christ”
