Were they going to stay or change and obey and go with God where he called them

 Hebrews 13:8  Jesus Christ is the yesterday and today and forever.

James 1:17 Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not like shifting shadows

Isaiah 43:14-19 See, I am doing a thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it?
I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.

Habakkuk 1:5 “Look at the nations and watch— and be utterly amazed. For I am going to do something in your days that you would not , even if you were told.

Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not .
